Description

Roadtrippers is the only map built for travelers. Plan your summer road trip with friends or find an amazing place nearby you never knew existed. You're always 5 minutes away from something awesome! Discover millions of places, like local diners and quirky roadside attractions, or scenic points, national parks, and hotels. Get inspiration from our pre-made trip guides of some of the most interesting and once-in-a-lifetime routes you need to see at least once. You can use Roadtrippers for free to find these great places and come up with some big ideas. Start plotting your route with up to 7 waypoints. When you're ready to go beyond 7, you'll need to upgrade to Roadtrippers Plus, which gives you up to 150 waypoints per trip and a ton more including collaborating with friends, exclusive deals, custom map styles, and offline maps. Any trips you've saved or places you love will sync automatically across devices. Note: Content currently USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand-focused only. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

  • Interesting but check places first

This app is a great idea and has some interesting features but the information is not current on many of the places I looked at. Some were out of business and others were now a different name and business. Best to check that the places you’re interested in are still there before traveling.

I used this in the past but now a few years later I’m being told it cost to add destinations to my trip. When did this change.?

This used to be an awesome app. I logged in today and it now asks me to spend $29.99 a year for a subscription for something that was free. Not worth it. I can do the planning with the internet and my gps myself!!!

I just don’t get what this app is supposed to do. You input a starting point and ending point, and all it does is show you mostly bars and wineries along the route. Huh? In addition, contacting the developer was totally a waste of time. As for a tutorial....what tutorial? Luckily for me this app was free at the time, so I don’t feel I wasted my money.
  • Unbelievably outdated information

About 20-30% of restaurants listed in this app are permanently closed, and have been closed for years! If only the app allowed users to flag a business as closed.
  • Nothing worth $290

I liked this app but developers got greedy and it went from free to $29 a year ..google now offers a more superior option at no charge...don’t bother with this one
  • Charge is ridiculous

I have used and loved this app for years. I used it for planning trips, but the new $30/year charge does not make it worth it. It was great for saving info, but the directions are not always accurate. It is not worth the money and the 7 free waypoints is such a small amount that I will eventually switch to something else.
  • Good while it lasted..

Loved this app! It was my go to for planning our road trips across the country. As I sat down to begin mapping and planning our next adventure the website stopped me and asked for $29.99/year! Not gonna happen. Too many other map options. Had it been $10-15 one time fee, maybe. Bye Felicia

First time ever to leave a review about any app. I used to love this app and would rave about it to my travel friends. However, the recent decision to limit users to SEVEN waypoints per trip is ridiculous and severely limiting. It used to be 60. And now SEVEN to push the user to add pro. That is nearly a 90% reduction in functionality. Poor decision. I’ll take my support elsewhere after I migrate my trips. Increase the # of waypoints to something reasonable and you will have me back because the functionality was good while it lasted.

Way too expensive, I’ll use other apps instead from now on. Bye!
