Because the ring back notice does not work, you will undoubtably miss important calls. I have missed calls from mechanics, delivery services, restaurants, potential employers, and even my mom! Trap calls says that any Un-identified call will ring back after being id’d. That only works once in a while. Mostly it just blocks the call and you’ll get a text message from trap call about it. Also- I’ve heard from people I was actually expecting a call from that they were not given the option of leaving a voicemail. Obviously this is not ideal. It does block calls pretty okay. And if you don’t use your cell phone for calls then this will work for you. FYI: I was on the premium plan, paying $10 a month for at least 6 months and this continued to frustrate me. Also even though I paid this month, when I cancelled it cuts off immediately. It does not even honor the full month you paid for! Make sure to do a lot of research before deciding this is the best option for you.

Now it tends to get stuck and hung up on Internet connection. It’s constantly bombarding my phone with network issues because it can’t seem to connect to the Internet. None of the other apps have this issue. Sometimes it literally drags my phone battery way down just trying to constantly connect to the Internet because unlike most people on cell phones i am all over the place working. Aside from that I’m going on about 10 years of using TrapCall and I love it for unmasking private numbers. The transcription is also nice.

This app does NOTHING except creates false calls to make it appear it unblocks unknown calls. I tried to email support about erasing all of my user data and did not get a response. Do not buy this app!!

Every time I try to sign up, it says to enter a valid phone number.

If I would be allowed to start the activation process over on my new phone, I could set up the app correctly in my phone. The app assumes I have already allowed access to the three required settings so it skips over this process on my new phone. I began the process on my old phone with ease. I currently need TrapCall to request access to my phone and contacts, but it skips over that in the activation process because I allowed it on my old phone.
