You can even continue listening to the content if you lock your phone, vast variety of content, great hosts, it’s only for the open-minded though
  • Good videos, poor functionality

    By This update is horrible!
I have been using the app on Apple TV and the amount of times I have been asked to cancel or resume a video only to have either option load indefinitely is frustrating. The videos are great, but if you stop in the middle of a video and logout, it just loads forever without playing when you open the app next. I have had to restart my Apple TV at least a half dozen times in the first three weeks of using tho app. Disappointing with a company with this type of funding behind them to put out a broken product.

I would have scour Netflix for something as awesome as Gaiam TV. I have found every episode educational and enlightening. Best spent $99 of my life. Believe me, I have learned the hard way that the education system is a lot more expensive and a lot less applicable than what is offered on Gaia. The yoga instructors on the videos all have unique styles, and you will learn something new from each session. The episodes range in duration, so it is convenient for the purposes of fitting a class into your busy schedule- no matter how short the class. The series offered on Gaia cover the topics that most others would avoid, but do so in a very professional manner. All of the documentaries or interviews that I have had the pleasure of watching have proven to be both thought-provoking and eye-opening. Best of all, having access to Gaia on your phone helps pass the times when you may be stuck in silly Tacoma traffic. What is supposed to be a half hour drive turns into a two hour drive. That is two episodes of Gaiam TV! How bout’ that? Anyway, I say its worth a try, for whatever my word is worth to you. Good day all.

My daughter practices yoga daily, and recommended this app to me. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now, and with the App Store having an article on some other yoga apps, I tried them out a bit. What I don’t like about Gaia is the cost—$99 on the year plan, or $12 per month if I don’t prepay a year. I think most of the other apps are a bit less, but they seem to offer so much less. I have an excellent yoga place nearby, but its schedule and mine don’t often agree, it’s definitely more expensive than Gaia, and I don’t have the option of short classes. What I do like is the quality of the classes and instructors, the variety of what’s offered, the reliable way I can stream videos on my iPad (or to my Apple TV) for me to practice. My own peculiarities also influence this—I’m not going to go out and do yoga for 90 minutes. Being able to locate videos that are 15-20 minutes fits well with my attention and energy span. In addition, I like to vary what I do. I think I’m fine doing my own meditation, but there are good videos for that. But I can change up between yoga and Tai Chi or whatever and feel I can do what my body needs. I can download so I can even squeeze in a session in the office, where I don’t have a WiFi connection. So I think I’m sold on Gaia...!

Amazing. Makes me optimistic about our future as a species and a planet. It’s clear our political divisiveness is a manipulation. Be love. Root out fear.
