  • Don’t believe them

    By M CA
They claim to offer floating time zone support, but it requires manually indicating this for each individual event, which is no better than what Apple offers.
  • Syncing needs improvement with GCal

    By DerwP
Whenever I update events in Google Calendar (business), it takes a while to update on my device (it hasn’t synced in over an hour). That seems like a minor thing, but for work that’s the difference of showing up to the right meeting or not. Design is great but I’m not able to use this until syncing is improved.
  • No customer support

    By Somaticpsyche16
Does not give pop up reminders on iPhone. Could have stayed woth just google calendar or iCal and not spent $50 plus phone app. Not happy after a month. Then no way to respond to app developer: I HAVE it set in iOS and every possible place, including on the calendar item. Never sends a reminder on my phone. I want my money back. This is a scam.
  • Great App!

    By WTBuff93
I have really enjoyed this app. I’ve tried other calendar and reminder apps and this beats them all, hands down. I do have a suggestion to make it even better. How about making past appointments stay grey, when they are complete, instead of having them return to black again?
  • Really, Really, Good.

I’ve been using fantastical for awhile now on the iPad and iPhone. What prompted me to write this review is that I just recently coughed up the money to buy the app in the Mac store, which is definitely pricey but also worth it. The Mac version of Fantastical is amazing from the drag and drop features to the way the interface looks. It really is the best calendar app in the game right now and if you don’t have the Mac version you’re missing out because it makes life that much easier.

  • Can’t choose date on Apple Watch

    By Mhgjewel
You can’t select the date to CREATE EVENT on Apple Watch that was the entire reason I got it. Not a happy customer I wasted another $5
  • Good be over-hyped reviews

I was surprised, given the reviews, that Fantastical does so poorly at the two things I needed it to do: 1. The app’s implementation of location alerts is amateurish at best. I don’t see a way to select a location by dropping a pin directly on a map location. So it appears you’re limited to selecting previously entered locations, or have to manually enter text descriptions of locations. Once entered, you cannot select arriving or leaving as trigger options for the location alert. The free gTasks app shames Fantastical in this regard. 2. Fantastical’s constraints on configuring audible alerts make no sense, for what is presumably a professionally developed app. ...I can’t believe I had to pay for the apps only average feature set, and may have to go back to gTasks, as I rely a lot on location alerts. That said, Fantastical’s interface is great and the reason I tried it.
  • Disappointing!

Fantastical for iOS disappointing. Pales in comparison to macOS version, which allows for calendar sets and has heatmap display.
  • Excellent calendar app!

Firstly, I have to address some of the ridiculous, laughable reviews. I was smh 🤦🏻‍♀️. Some of these reviews lead me to believe that some users don’t pay attention to directions or read updates or use tutorials or contact support via the obvious channels. These developers listen and care and want to maintain a solid app. There are regular updates. Ignore any reviews about customer support or “I can’t get it to work”. Some reviewers are clueless and/or have no common sense. Why blame the app for your ignorance? Ugh, I hate that! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now for some of the reasons this app deserves 5 stars. To start with, this is a very intuitive app. It’s as close to reading your mind as a calendar can get. lol You can set an event or reminder using natural language as you would in conversation. It knows what to pick out, and seeing the letters and numbers fall into place in cascade fashion and when correcting as it builds the event is really cool. lol That is a really cool feature, imo, and I’m willing to bet that a lot of users would agree with that. It’s an intelligent app. The UI is very nice looking. I could say more, but I need to cut this off at some point. Suffice it to say that I am very pleased w my purchase. Worth every penny. In fact, I wish I had it on my iPad as well, but that’s a separate purchase for $9.99. Very tempting... the native iOS calendar is so lame in comparison. Lol But I’ll just stick to using my iPhone for all of my calendar needs. I know...first world problems. 😁
