When you're on a call and you want to record it, open TapeACall and press the record button. We will put your call on hold and dial our recording line. As soon as our line answers tap the merge button on your screen to create a 3 way call between your other caller and our recording line. If you want to record an outgoing call, just press the record button. The app will dial our recording line and will begin recording as soon as our line answers. Once that happens, tap the add call button on your screen, call the person you want to record, then press the merge button when they answer. —————————————————————— Can I download recordings to my computer? Yes, and we've made it extremely easy to do this. Simply select a recording then tap the arrow button to the right of the player. This will show a screen containing a number of ways to share your recording. • Helping keep people accountable‼️

This app is as important as your phone itself‼️‼️ When conducting business whether personal or otherwise; many issues are nipped in the bud immediately when I’m able to playback previous conversations proving I handled the issue. There’s nothing more aggravating than to have a representative claiming “nothing shows in their system that I call”‼️ After taking the time and effort to resolve OR at least TRY TO RESOLVE an issue and be told “No notes were listed on your account.” You’re treated many times as if you’re making it up. Many times reps say “We show no documentation you made any effort to pay OR that you discontinued your subscription.” The recordings not only prove your truthfulness but also offer evidence your attempt to handle the issue. It ALSO highlights an employee who possibly was being difficult to work with and/or neglected their duties. When doing ANY business (personal or otherwise); NEVER call or except a call without it!!! When receiving a call, I ask the caller to; “Please hold for a moment while I let my dog out to do his / her business.” That’s when I switch to the “TapeACall app”. I even let them hear me talk to my dog and open & shut my door😄👍‼️ **If the people are honest; there’s nothing to be concerned about being recorded. Bob Jones

Downloaded in the beginning of August. Experienced multiple instances of phone connection problems, strange sounds on calls, etc. Sept. 10th someone used my checking info to initialize a small transaction from my bank. Yesterday, another $2 charge and then $350. I got a new checking account Less than three months ago, and I believe this app likely was the security culprit that leaked my information obtained through call recording, or accessing downloaded bank statements. Be careful.

This application said I had a free trial period of one (1) week, as it never worked for me. I canceled the subscription before twelve (12) hours and I had already made a charge on my credit card for $ 10.99

This app worked great until it didn’t. Calls won’t merge.
  • Garbage App, doesn’t record without your carrier service accepting call recording.

This App is complete waste of money. Your phones’s carrier service has to approve/enable the call sharing or recording feature for this good for nothing app to actually record your calls. Completely stupid concept of recording calls!

It doesn't work, you have to do a long process to record. I lost my money. I do not recommend it

Everything seems to work well mechanically. However a BLARING PROBLEM with this app is that though I can send recordings to my Dropbox account, I CANNOT PUT THESE RECORDINGS INTO PRE EXISTING FILES THAT I'VE ALREADY CREATED!!! This is a Huge Problem in that it does not help me to organize and store my information to fit my needs! Not Good!!! Please fix! ThanQ for fixing the above-stated problem. This app is very consistent and user-friendly. It's an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE for handling business!!!!!!
  • Very difficult to use!

I have been paying for this app for a couple years and attempted to use it a couple times but it is very difficult to use. You have to push a button, call a number and push another number, then call another number and it is very difficult to understand the actual instructions. I also cannot get it to work with incoming calls because there are too many steps in the color will not wait that long. I wish they would develop a better version are you just had to push one button and it would work or automatically just record everything and charge extra to keep the recordings in a cloud-based program if desired.
  • Call is not clear

I have Verizon so the cellular network should be crystal clear. After using this app and merging the call, the call cuts out a lot. I could only hear every other word from the person on the other line and even the recording afterwards is unclear as well. I called the same person again right afterwards without the recording app and the call is clear again. So my conclusion is that the merging of the call is causing the static.
