  • Game recaps buried

As has typically been the case, versions other than the iPad version allow the user to access Game Recaps with one click after selecting game under “Scores.” Better yet, those versions allow the user to go to Videos and then watch a series of Game Recaps without taking any action after clicking the first desired Game Recap. For some bizarre reason, the iPad version has eliminated the Game Recaps under the Videos section and, instead, Game Recaps available only if the user selects a game and then scrolls all the way through the Gamecenter write up to see the Recap vid at the bottom (after seeing who has done what in the narrative and individual play vid captions). The Game Recaps have to be one of the most popular features. Why make them hard to get to?
  • Bring back classics

I have had NHLTV for years, used to be Game Center, I love it, I have some issues fast forwarding on Roku4k and it has trouble reloading when I stop fast forwarding, works fine on fire-stick4k and appletv4k. I wished NHLTV kept the classic games that used to be on Game Center and I’m sure it’s easy to put them back on there as some of us like to rewatch old classic game from Adams division like Bruins vs Whalers first round playoffs. So bring that back and I will put 5 stars up. I watch at least 2 games per day and never miss a Bruins game. Not a great product if you live in your teams region, but if you are a transplant and miss your team it’s great.

Pretty good overall. It allows you to follow multiple teams at once and alerts you when your team scores. However, there are some things that are annoying about this app. For example, there are lots of delays and there are some errors when you are trying to get the stats during and after the game

Bought the NHL package for $145.00 and it blacks out ALL favorite team games anyways. No point in downloading or purchasing app. Waste of money.
  • Streaming and replays is terrible quality unless under fast WiFi

Not sure why I can watch YouTube videos at 1080p no problem, but this service I pay $60 a year for can barely even push out 144p. Replays are too blurry to even watch and the audio continues to play even after closing it, causing me to force close the app to get it to stop. Great for giving you live scores but you mine as well just go to google if that’s all you can get from this app. Would blame my service for the problem, but I can watch HD everywhere else but this app. I pay $60 a year and you use garbage compression software.
  • Thanks for putting the recap videos back

Thanks for correcting something that didn’t have to be changed in the first place. I don’t really have any problems with the app now.

The app use to be fast and simple to navigate and find team and player stats. Now it’s buried in menu after menu.
  • Rarely Works

When the app is working it’s great. Unfortunately I’m most often looking at a “THIS PAGE COULD’T BE LOADED” error. It only works about 20% of the time.
  • Meh.

App constantly refreshes in the middle of a story and brings me back to the main screen, forcing me to either go back and scroll to find what i was reading, or just close the app. I usually go with the latter, and i sometimes honestly wonder why i keep the app on my phone.
