  • Needs work

I’m still under the free first month and not sure if I’ll keep the app or not. When I’m listening on the phone and it rings, I have to quit the app completely and restart it. This is a major pain in the butt and needs to be fixed. I use the app to listen to the replay of the show if I missed the live show. I use a radio app to listen live because of the music during the breaks. Put some parodies in there or something. Five stars if you fix those items.
  • Not compatible with latest iOS update.

Love the app, have used it for years now, but the app will not stitch the podcasts together anymore. I sincerely hope they find a way to fix it. Still love the content!
  • Bluetooth broken PLEASE FIX APP

It is inexplicable why this app all the sudden should not be able to play via Bluetooth. Most people like me are probably listening in the car and now this is not possible. PLEASE FIX ASAP.
  • Getting a lot better but not quite there.

This app has reimagined the Rush experience and it is getting a lot better with each update. The app is a bit clunky/awkward(?) to navigate. A couple of bugs(?). - The app does not resume audio playback while listening to the podcast interface when unplugging my “iPod USB cable” from my iPhone X, which is plugged into my car’s USB port. - When listening to the app podcast and the screen is locked, the app is not present on the lockscreen upon waking up the phone. - fix the app not returning to last played segment after leaving the app, taking call, etc. This is infuriating. Suggested improvements to my experience. - add a 15/30 second skip forward to the video player! It is agonizing to forget that I have to do that if I want to skip the ‘dead space’ in between sections. - while we are on it, take the ‘dead space’ (comedy and music between segments) out of the video in post processing PLEASE!!! I understand having that space there for live broadcasts, but... it’s infuriating to have to keep skipping it. I’d just assume search out Rush on YouTube for free and get rid of the service. Let’s be real!!!! I support the show though. - Also, remove live commercials in post-processing PLEASE! If it makes the app more expensive I’ll deal with it, but the dead space has to go! - add segment markers (like movie chapters) and use the << and >> marker-slippers to skip segments. I know Rush jumps around sometimes but this would be great! - at the same time, document the segment name/topic with a time stamp in the podcast episode segment. This would be the most awesome app on the App Store if it did this. (See Overcast app and the podcast “Accidental Tech Podcast” for example)! - enable ‘swipe down’ to minimize an episode you’re listening to.
  • Charge me to listen???

You want to charge me $6.99 a month to listen to the show live when I can get it free from any other app? This is absolutely ridiculous. You could get listeners like me to listen and still stream your advertisements but I’m disappointed you are that greedy. Still love the show but just not this app
  • I miss the old podcast thru itunes

I love Rush but the app is subpar. Too gunked up. I just want the podcast audio. Why do I have to go thru 5 or 6 steps to start listening? Plus, since the latest iOS update, the app doesn’t connect to player controls on lock screen or control center. That’s basic functionality not working for weeks now! Set us free rush. Let us download thru Apple podcasts again.
  • iOS 12.2 Not Compatible

Since the iOS 12.2 update, I'm no longer able to play Rush podcasts via Bluetooth in my car where I do 100% of my listening. In the past, even if Spotify were playing once I pressed play on a Rush podcast it would take control of Bluetooth and nullify Spotify. Now, even with Spotify and all other apps closed, the Rush app doesn't play in my car via Bluetooth at all. NEED A FIX ASAP! I'm essentially paying for a broken app that doesn't work.
  • I grew up listening to the show and love it

I grew up listening to the show with my dad when I was a little kid and I still listen to it ll of these years later. I love the show but, the app needs some more attention. I decided I would subscribe and support the show, plus the benefit of getting to listen without commercials is great. But I'm really considering not renewing my subscription because of some annoyances. One, for example. If I’m listening to a podcast and lock my iPhone I don't have an audio player on the lock screen that allows me to pause, play, turn up the volume rewind or fast forward. This seems like such a common thing that every other audio app has, I don't know how this was overlooked for this app. Is it a setting I am missing that I need to toggle? Some other things: *when playing a podcast and it gets done with the first hour it doesn't automatically play the next hour. But as soon as I open the app it starts to play the next hour. *if I get a phone call while listening to the podcast and the call ends the show doesn't start playing again. *When I am listening to an hour of the podcast and it stops I can't get it to resume, I have to force end and restart the app. *if I’m listening to the show through my Bose QC15 and I press the button on the cord that, in almost every other audio app will pause the track, on this app it doesn’t, it causes a different audio app to play. Hopefully these things may eventually get addressed and make this app great.
  • Disappointed in the app

This is the worst performing app I have. He only reason I stick with it is because I’m paying for the content, but if I could download the content through another app like Spotify or iTunes Podcasts, I’d do it. Every time I write to the app team about the issues, they tell me to uninstall/reinstall it. After that, they have no idea for how to fix it. This most recent update a few days ago made it even worse. The app no longer plays in the media player when your screen is locked. C’mon man. It’s 2019 and your struggling with basic app functionality issues.
  • Bluetooth and Airplay management broken

This latest version 4.3 does not properly take over control from the last app that was being used over Bluetooth or Airplay even if the previous app is closed. Version 4.1 worked.
