  • Received app support

    Can now download current issues but lost all select old issues I had saved. I did NOT subscribe through Apple, but have had a decades long paper subscription, which I changed to a digital only last year. Now if I can just get my Money magazine digital access fixed, I will be happy. At least with Money magazine, I still get paper issues.

    Astonishing improvement! I gave 1 star in past, now 5. Congratulations Team Time! Really great product. My highest recommendation. Now much better program than Newsweek. I’m really ecstatic! Now, please don’t screw up like you did last year 2018. BTW, I had no trouble downloading on my new iPad-Mini 5. I believe I just tapped Restore Itunes under account or synchronized under preferences.

    This app is HORRIBLE. Customer service has been giving me the run around for weeks, and I still haven’t been able to gain access to magazines I PAID FOR. Interesting that this happens when magazines are a dying breed - you’d think they would have digital services more buttoned up by 2019 to save those customers they have left.
  • Cannot Download

    I’ve been a print and digital subscriber for a long time and am now being asked to pay $6.99 to download an issue. Of the varios subscriptions I have this is the most user unfriendly, annoying one. Will cancel subscription if problem is not solved. It is more trouble than it is worth. Alberto Duran

    Update: I did receive a response to the support email I sent. For those of you having problems, you have to go into Preferences in your account and sync the library. The issues appeared after I did that. Original review: I subscribed to Time several years ago and this app worked perfectly and I was able to get my digital issues. Since renewing my print subscription, I have tried everything to get my digital issues and nothing works. Customer Support is offshore and unable to assist me. My new subscription number does not work and when I sign in, the app seems to be linked to my old subscription number Ad.

    I’m a print and digital subscriber. I signed int to this “updated version”, and it wants to charge me $6.99 to download an issues. My library only updates to the previous month. This is garbage. Time you’ve just lost another subscriber.

  • This app has been broken for years!

    Time magazine is not even trying to improve this app. It was horrible when it first came out and it’s horrible now! After an update it is nearly impossible to log on again, plus you lose the magazines you have already downloaded. The app was using a different login than my login that works fine on my computer on the web. Even though I’ve been using this app for years, and even after accepting my login, it wouldn’t, today, allow me to view any magazines unless I “Subscribe“! The user/account interface for this app and for Time Magazine in general gets an F from me. I resent that I had to spend over an hour today trying to get my iPhone app to work, even though I had automatic payment turned on. There should never be an interruption to the function of this app! As angry as I am, I will admit that the iPhone app is pretty good once you get it working! Shame on Time!
  • Not friendly for “Digital and Print” users

    When this app updates logging back in to get full access (eg ability to save issues for offline reading) is at best a headache. Has been for years. The account nbr on my magazine label is different than the account number on my print invoice which has a different number of digits than the app wants - and the app in some places asks for 9 digits in others 10. Nor will it accept my email address. What. A. Mess. If I didn’t subscribe to the print edition I’d NEVER by this haphazard digital version.

    The app was not refreshing the magazines, and it looked like I did not have a subscription... I submitted a ticket online, and heard back within a. Few hours and it was fixed... I would give it 5 if I had. Not had the problem to begin with, but I have to give them kudos for fixing the problem. So quickly...
