    Bookful is a rip off don’t do it, don’t waste your money. I spent 20 bucks for 9 books could read one of them. They stop. They don’t download. My internet connection is top of the line, has nothing to do with that. I tried to restore my purchases and it gets stuck. Tried to send an email and the email icon doesn’t work. Complete garbage. No stars! I put one star so others would read this.

  • Don’t waste your money and time with this app

    I purchased books on the app and they do not work. App just shuts down half way through books that have been purchased. Does not allow me to finish books that have been purchased. Working on getting a refund on purchased books. Don’t waste your money or time on this worthless app. Big disappointment for me and my kids.

  • Incredible use of ARKit

    First off, my family and young daughter were blown away by the quality of the books, and on the iPad, it really is almost pure magic. However, unless we’re reading to her, the music will sometimes change volume extremely abruptly every time the narration pauses which sounds terrible. Also the audio quality in general on the main screen where you’re looking over the “land” seemed like it was almost streaming over a really choppy internet connection because of how muffled it sounded. Other than the two sound issues though, my spouse and I are absolutely sold on this concept for everything from road trips, to downtime over media apps like YouTube Kids (and sometimes even Noggin) which aren’t always necessarily educational. Great job devs! Please keep adding other classics; Peter the Rabbit was a fantastic start, and perhaps one day, we can get some celebrity narrations ;)

    Idea seemed cool but bought the dinosaur book and it didn’t work properly. Will wait to see it they get better and fix all these issues before buying any other books.

  • Frustrating to Use

    My son loves seeing the stories come to life, and somehow I ended up dumping $30 into books for him... and every one of them but Sleepy Cheetah downloads a little over half the book, gets you to a point where you think it’s actually going to work, then stops working. The pages will still flip, but there’s no animations, and no audio. And don’t even get me started on the games. Nothing works. You can tap on things to your hearts content, but there’s nothing to actually play or explore. Really annoyed I spent $30 on a half baked app, no matter how much my kid loves it.

  • Purchased the 9 books but can’t access them all only 2

    The screen keeps dancing distracting me and making dizzy. There’s no place that store books that you’ve already purchase in case you want to look at your book shelf, or maybe re-read a book. Beautiful idea but app was not ready for the public just yet. Needs a lot of work, options to read it yourself, tap on the word option for definition. Keep working on it, I will be contacting customer service for my other 7 books and please don’t lie to people. Let them know that the 9 books bundle $19.99 books are already pre-selected for you forcing to read books that your kids may not be interested in. You should be free to choose the books you want to read. That was not nice

  • Issues after buying 9-book package

    I bought the 9-book package. When my daughter tried to start reading the book titled Eight days gone” I was still being prompted to buy it! There’s no clear way to select the books for my purchase. I have emailed them. I’ll update this review once I hear from them.

    I wish the book purchases shared across my kids iPads and please highlight the words being read so they can follow along. Otherwise keep improving and doing what you’re doing.

    This works great with my iPhone 8plus and iPad Pro. Kids love it. It’s really fun and different. Thank you for something different and fresh to keep them learning.
