This app worked perfectly with the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBDII adapter that’s linked on the BimmerCode site as of 29-July-2019. Coded a handful of things on my F15 X5 without any issue. I did take the precaution of using airplane mode and only switching on Bluetooth. After that I was connected and coding within 5 minutes.

First i contacted the support concerning the adapter and they recommended a list (the cheaper is about 80$) although the cheap wifi one work with most users (25-30$). Second i bought the app as per available codes and was surprised that lot of them are not working because the car is not equipped with the required hardware (every code on their website u will find a note, read this note carefully and try to guess if it will work or not on your car). Third,When i tried to contact their technical support their replies are too slow (12-24 hrs) and it is full of “if”. I succeeded in coding the AC default off, auto start/off default to off, mirror automatic folding when closing the car with remote, video in motion. Not totally satisfied and I think that i need to give a try to Carly although it is annual subscription.

While I’m a techie and have the BMW software the BimmerCoder apps makes it so simple to code the car without having to spend hours on the bmw forums. Worked right away with a VGATE compatible ble adapter I had from before on amazon App is worth every $ Worked with the below adapter from Amazon TONWON Car Bluetooth 4.0 OBD2 Code Readers, OBDII Bluetooth Scan Tool ELM327 Car Diagnostic Tool Vehicle Scanner for iOS and Andiord

Works exactly as advertised for my F30. The coding is simple and very user friendly. One request would be regarding backups: Would like to rename backups for easy of identifying changes or pre-changes and would love to be able to export/import backups to Google Drive or iCloud etc.
