  • Wow!

This is fantastic. I was tired of trying to figure out what to do Once I got to the gym. This lays everything out for you that you need to do to be successful in the gym. Takes all the guesswork out of which muscles to work and keep track of what you’ve done and what you need to do. It tells you what muscles you worked out previously, where they are in the recovery phase, and what muscles to work out today by telling you exactly what exercises to do to work the fully recovered muscles. I’ve done P90X for years and was just a little tired of that and wanted something different and this is absolutely perfect. I’ve seen other apps cost $20 per month and this for $60 a year is a great value as well!!(Don’t tell the developer that or they’ll raise the price!)
  • Great lifting app

I’m still fairly new to this app but not to lifting. After a few weeks I’m really enjoying how it tracks your muscle recovery and gives recommendations on weights for follow on workouts. Everything so far is really user friendly and I would absolutely recommend this app to a friend. I do wish it had audio indicators when your rest was finished and that it had the ability to sync with more than just Apple health. All and all though this is a great app!
  • Wonderful app

I thought that paying so much for an app was crazy. I was wrong Fitbod is worth the money. The more you use it the more it learns about. It is like having a personal training with you everyday.
  • Thank you!!!

Wow. Seeing results immediately. Thank you so much. I feel like this was made for me. I am working hard with a guiding light.
  • Good app but too much bugs for this price

One of the workouts logged incorrectly and I can’t even remove it from the log
  • Really good overall

I’ve been using this app for a few months now and it’s really changed how I utilize my time at the gym! I don’t find myself wandering trying to figure out what to do next because I’ve generated workouts for my needs. With that being said, I do think there could be some improvements. I wish it had the option to preset which workout you want to do for each day of the week. I also wish it had a wider range of exercises. (The selection is great don’t get me wrong, but I have found that there are some exercises I do that aren’t listed.)
  • Great App

Would have given 5 stars, but tried many times to get it to sync with Apple Health app and it wouldn’t.
  • Eh

Crashes a lot. Freezes and resets workout very often as well.
  • Super versatile app but still some sync issues.

This is still my go-to gym workout app. The supersets are very effective and info provided on the Watch app (GIFs and timers) are great. Syncing needs to be better though but it’s better than before but if you replace an exercise in a superset in the middle of a routine, the timers no longer sync with the Apple Watch app but do activate in the iPhone. Also, some of the suggested workout routines (such as back-to-back pull-up sets) are not realistic. Still, the ability to create different profiles (a great help for frequent travelers that use multiple guns), integration with other workout apps plus the addition of new exercises are great.
  • Great, but...

Been using this app 4 times/week for several months and it is well worth it. BUT as others have said, it seems every time there is an update the app takes a step back in terms of reliability and it takes a couple of weeks to recover. As an example, I just did a one hour workout with seven exercises. The log shows it as seven separate one hour workouts lol. Like I just did an hour’s worth of bench presses, an hour’s worth of shoulder raises, etc. So until this is fixed I have to go in and manually enter everything. And yes, I did log out/reinstall, etc. with no change.
