  • The update needs to change!!!😠😠

I really used to love this app. I never paid but I could still color things. That is until the new update. Instead of having the first three new pictures free, only the most recent one is free. Before this update, you could watch an add and get a picture, but now there are barely any pictures left. You can also no longer import things like you used too. I have thought of paying the annual cost to become a member, but $75 dollars is WAY to much in my opinion. You guys should lower it so people won’t be so mad at this app. This update is really triggering, and I haven’t been using it as much as I used too. I hope you guys change it because this app is not like it was. 😔😔

This used to be a wonderful app! First you took away my ability to earn coins to purchase pictures. I learned to live with it. At least I could still count on having 3 new pictures to choose from each day. But now I get exactly ONE per day and I MUST watch a video (the EXACT SAME VIDEO every day, by the way) in order access it! And then it’s usually something I don’t care to color! Not all of us can afford $8/week, $15/month or $80/year to purchase a subscription! In case you haven’t heard, the majority of us are living paycheck to paycheck, which is a stressful way to live! I could come here to relieve that stress. But not anymore. Just one more example of GREED. How sad.

I think this app is great, if you have the rewards stuff. If you don't you basically either have to watch a video every single time you want to color something or you can pay 10.99 per month (which I think is completely unreasonable). If you don't want to buy the rewards(like me) then you basically either have to watch a video EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to color in something(which I can not do) or just don't go on the app. If you want to pay 10.99 (plus tax) on an app rather then go buy something at a store, go ahead, but if you want to save your money and spend it on clothes, food, flowers, tools, etc. Then I do not recommend buying this app.

Is this app not free anymore it won’t let me color anything unless I subscribe.
  • They DELETED my previous review because I told the truth.

    By 🦄SparklyRainbowUnicorn🦄
I'm not writing about the app, I'm writing about how this company posted my last review. I told the truth about the app and said how there isn't profanity or XXX rated pics, or any inappropriate commenting bc I don't have access to any and can't see it, and how the app was horrible bc now u actually need a subscription to unlock un-free pics when normally you could just watch a quick vid to unlock them, and then guess what? they DELETED the review just because of that when I also said that in all other ways the app was great. Obviously this company isn't tolerant of bad reviews. Probably because they want people to download the app and see all the good reviews so they download it and buy the stuff and get a subscription so they get money. Was very displeased. If the company deletes your review, especially one you took time on and put thought into, it should be able to be reported.
  • Great but has one problem!

Recolor, the old version was so nice because you could get any free picture. But now, every time you want a “free” picture, you have to watch videos before you can actually color it. And, why are you taking down posts? They were following the rules, and nothing was bad about them!!!
  • Decent, I guess 🙄

    By Jor2678563
Ok, so I love the app, but the daily picture that is supposed to be free, ISNT!! You have to watch some stupid ad just to color it! I also don’t like this new update where the photos only last for free until the next free photo comes. I hope this will all change in the near future
  • Love this app BUT not the new restrictions...

    By livingdeadgirldes
I love recolor! The pictures are quality and love that we can comment and support each other and our art but I liked the older version of recolor where we could watch videos for coins and then pay 10 coins per picture....then you guys made us watch a video to unlock each picture and coins no longer mattered and now I can only color free pictures - any time I try to open a picture that would normally allow you to watch a video to open, now it tells us to either pay or do a free trail. Please fix these issues - I use this app to deal with chronic pain but now it’s basically unusable unless I pay and just don’t have the funds 😞
  • “Oh look, now it’s like all the other color apps”

    By SotaWannabe
Okay so, let me get this point across fast. I loved this app. I still do, but not as much. After a long and horrible journey, I was able to find a coloring app that I enjoyed. I didn’t have to pay for Premium to unlock everything, I was able to import my own pictures, and I was able to praise others for their work. Look. At. You. Now. Now this app is becoming like all the other apps. Like, “wot?!” Before, I would suggest this app to others in a heartbeat. But now, I warn them so they won’t be disappointed. I tell them, “carful, it’s turning to the dark side” Now, don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy it. But I am this close to deleting it. All because of the “pay to unlock junk” I would recommend another way to farm money. Maybe have some limited addition photos or something. Make people watch two ads instead of one. Please find another way. This app is loosing its “zing”. I might have to break up with it soon. An upsettie spaghetti- Sierra
  • Great app. Until the update

    By FluffyUnicorn457🦄🦄🦄
Recolor WAS the best coloring app you would ever find. Until they updated it. At first, every single picture was free, and some of the color choices and effects cost money. I did not buy the colors because I could just make them in the custom color section of the app. But enough about colors and effects. About 2 or 3 months ago, the developer of the app said that the virtual “coins” that allowed you to buy pictures for free, were going away. But after the coins disappeared, you had to watch an ad to get the pictures in the gallery. The ads stayed for a few weeks, but things just went downhill from there. Soon enough, the ads disappeared, just like the coins. In their place was a subscription to the app. I found this very annoying, because the prices were ridiculously expensive ($10.99 a week!) for just a few pictures!!! (And what I mean by a few is 1000). The prices just got higher and higher, then the age rating went up with it. It went from 4 to 9 to 12!! How ridiculous is that?! Especially for a COLORING APP. Seriously! I have never been more upset with a app that went from free to having to pay for everything. P.S. if you would like to follow me on the app (if you buy it!!) my name is She•Who•Must•Not•Be•Named
